Fairfield has become an eating destination. I have heard from friends in neighboring towns say that they think of Fairfield first when it comes to eating out. From elegant to quick take-out – Fairfield restaurants offer a plethora of choices. If you are thinking of trying something new – you might consider participating in the first ever, Dine Out Fairfield! event being held from February 27-March 5. This event has been planned as a response to the tremendous success of Fairfield Annual Restaurant week. First Selectman, Mike Tetreau said, “Fairfield is pleased to sponsor Dine Out Fairfield! to help celebrate Fairfield’s vibrant restaurant scene and its many quality restaurants. Fairfield Restaurant Week, held each fall and now in its 6th year, has been a tremendous success, and has quickly become an annual tradition. We have heard both from the public and from restaurants that Fairfield should offer Restaurant Week more than once a year, and we’re happy to oblige.”
More than 30 restaurants are expected to participate in this week-long event with special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus showcasing their finest culinary offerings.
